What does the 30-day trial include, and do I need a card?

Everything — memo & consignment, the manufacturing floor, live-metal margins, every module — for 30 days, with no credit card. When it ends, subscribe to keep working, or your workspace becomes read-only: you can still view and export your data, but new business writes pause until you subscribe. Your data is never deleted.

What happens if I don't subscribe after the trial?

Your workspace becomes read-only — every read and export keeps working, but the trial's business writes (new orders, new customers, new inventory, and so on) pause until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted, and subscribing at $30/seat/month (or $300/seat/year) restores full access instantly.

Do I bring my own AI key?

Yes — Karatry's AI features are bring-your-own-key. Plug in your own provider key (Anthropic and others) in Settings, and AI usage is billed to you directly by the provider, at cost. Your usage, your control — there's no separate AI-actions tier to manage.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

It's yours. Export your customers, inventory, styles, sales orders and invoices to CSV at any time, plus reports like AR aging and memo exposure — no proprietary format, no exit fees. Cancel and your workspace becomes read-only (same as an ended trial); nothing is deleted out from under you.

Can I migrate from spreadsheets or another system?

Can I change my seat count later?

Anytime, in Settings → Billing — add seats as you hire, or remove seats you're not using (down to your current active headcount). Changes prorate automatically on your next invoice.
